Gevey is attached to your sim and placed in a locked phone with a SIM card slot so that you'll be able to use it

So it’s advisable to buy such phone right

locked phones are much cheaper and if you get a stable gevey, you're good to go, the disadvantage is you can't be changing sims, once you fix the gevey and you remove it might have an issue reconnecting again

I was told that phones like that shouldn’t go off or can’t be switched off, what about that

That's if the gevey is not solid, you'll have issue reconnecting, I was using 13 locked, didn't have issue when the phone went off, it was just like an unlocked phone
